yes indeed. please note that, in relation to despoiling the WHYW ( or whatever ) we have been " warned off " by the JC. under pain of having the malt forcibly extracted from our veins, we must never darken its door again :umbrella:

That smacks of GB's "British jobs for British workers" which has now been adopted as a poster slogan by the BNP for the upcoming local and European elections. Realistically there is nothing wrong with Indian's having jobs if they are more competitive and productive than us or, is it because they are not "our own kind" that we should not buy their products (even if cheaper).
Back to Irish whisky , and broadening a bit, I recall with happy memories and a sore head, that when serving there in the border areas that we were often offered a potato based (homemade) whisky in the remoter farming communities...poteen. Anyone know why a similar brew is not found in west Scotland seeing as it was settled by the Irish long ago? If it is then any clues where I can get hold of some on my next trip over the wall.
Meanwhile I shall ignore DaveS's insulting comment.
I know a man on this forum who could help you out there :party: :nyah: bigparty;

I hadn't noticed - It's weird if you read threads where you knew he'd posted - he's refered to - but his post has gone.

When Nick was asking about an epoxy repair to his grabrail - I noticed that he received a word for word duplicate reply on two fora from two posters. I put 2 and 2 together and maybe got 5 because the poster on the other fora doesn't appear to be the :troll: that Hardy was.

I fink he might have been pushed.

It may have been the same poster. Some folk can be a troll somewhere where they feel safe that they won't bump into folk but nearer home they behave just incase they want to attend a meet one day.

There again I could be wrong, I often am.

LOL - So that thought went through your mind too when you read it - just ever so briefly, of course.
aquaplane wrote: It may have been the same poster. Some folk can be a troll somewhere where they feel safe
At the time I certainly assumed that they were the same person - now I wonder if Hardy just did a cut and paste from the t'other post - maybe the troll mindset was drawing attention to the fact that Nick had posted in 2 fora.

Anyway, who cares - lifes too short.
