Ah, the Electric Gardens. First place I ever saw Pink Floyd and Deep Purple for that matter.
It was almost next door to Tiffany's where I attended many a drunken students rag ball, and actually roadied there with a group I was working with at the time who were backing Elkie Brooks and a young Robert Palmer.
Actually I think the Glitter Band were there one night as well :oops:

That was the time, just before Deep Purple in Rock was released I think. 1970 I would guess.
