You will no doubt be pleased to learn that we had a most excellent sail in warm SE breezes - wearing shorts, tee shirts and big stupid smiles.

Slightly sunburned though.

Not another sailie boatie in sight, just one wee creel boat and some fish farm stuff. Another boat did leave Craobh about an hour ago.

Home now and gently rehydrating in the approved manner

No point me asking for a pic of Seminole as you sail past if you can't even get one of a shup so close to your optimal track

Yer Lardships Fyne shup is currently under the tender care of Ardferns finest boatyard and wisnae in foatie Range when we went past in Boatie.

I did however spy said vessel when paddle boarding yesterday but didnae huv the box brownie with me as it didnae fit inside my figure hugging wetsuit.

I can easy get ye a foatie of Seminole if she’s inside a 5 mile range of The ‘Fern though. Wee Nicola (peace be upon her)willnae let me go any further the noo.

so we can travel more that 5 miles to our boats
As my boat is self catering accommodation and there are no shared facilities, then i interpret this as allowing me to stay on board.

Anchoring overnight: why not? no comment in the guidance.

it will be interesting to see what harbours and marinas say about visitors from other ports.

We still have to respect the measures needed to avoid unintentionally infecting others or being exposed and contracting the virus so its still cool to be ant-social.

Aye, but at least he’d secured it to the pontoon cleat with a very pretty bow.

I believe if done correctly it makes the meter run backwards. Better than slipping a photo negative into the case, or drilling a tiny hole and sticking a pin in.

I once witnessed a rather spectacular display at Kerrera Marina when someone was leaving and got their dinghy hooked around the Meter box which also had a water pipe in it. - the meter box got bent over to about 72 degrees list then the water sprayed in the most beautiful cascade and ignited the electricity supply into a quite brilliant pyrotechnic outburst.
The boat was a Moody with the dinghy in davits - they either were unaware of the mayhem they had caused or just decided to leg it. I've often wondered how it all ended

Tobermory will be slightly open from tomorrow https://www.tobermoryharbour.co.uk/as-you-arrive but with restrictions. I wonder what the welcome will be like in the Mishnish? Perhaps McGochans will be more appropriate.

I had an email from Dunstaffnage to the effect that they will allow owners from > 5 miles away to call and stay overnight onboard but the toilets, showers and office are staying shut for now. No mention if visitors would be welcome or allowed.
