Hate to see a good thread languishing
Although I've posted several favourite pics previously on this thread I have finally managed to extort a sensibly sized version of this particular gem from the talented Nick.

Clickable.
I think there are a few new posters since this thread was last aired and to these I commend a reading of the warning in the OP.

I got some new ones the other day. Taken last back end on the TSA Windermere cruise by the same bloke who took the "doing 6.3 knots with a reef white knuckle ride" ones.

Seminole.

Re: Favourite pic of your boat
Met up with Silkie last week & he persuaded me to post a picture of our Orla, taken by a Canadian boat heading down the sound of Mull, we later swapped pictures, these are the only pictures I have of Orla sailing, was really chuffed to get them.

Im sure i saw Silkie taking a picture of our boats side by side last week,
really like to see that one, two of the best bums in the marina

She's a real beauty. Bob Perry's designs deserve to be better known on this side of the Atlantic.
Put the CC2011 in your diary if you want to get some more pics of Orla under sail. Next year it will probably be pre-cruise drinkies on Thursday April 28th and returning to base on Monday May 2nd. Bring your guitar.

Somewhere just off Ardrossan.

Re: Favourite pic of your boat
Here's two of mine:

Is the gasometer in view?

Funny that. There's the Medway littered with abandoned brickworks and power stations plus the container ports and I've missed them.
The names too big - my blunders will be remembered. Maybe I should have another name on one of the dodgers then the shameful incidents can be shared. Wished I hadn't chucked the tatty old blue dodgers with the old name on now.

Just to keep the thread going...
My Skagerak at rest (shortly to be for sale)

and my new (to me) motorboat taken on Friday at my house

and a couple of non boat ones to give an idea what the weather is like at home at the moment

Now, are you all planning the summer trips
