Just back from Tiree - by ferry
No BT (provided by EE) signal on Tiree, nor en route until near Tobermory, then intermittent in SoMull, and OK in Oban.
Not 4G anywhere on that route.

Came round the top from Orkney.
Either reasonable signal (but very limited data) or nothing. Wife on EE, myself on O2/Giffgaff. Neither got a whiff of any signal at Kylesku, until we went ashore and climbed a hill!
I'm not sure it's any worse than other years, but it's plainly patchy and mostly very slow.
I got a brief "open Wifi" signal at Cape Wrath ???
Calmac appear to have abandoned their public wifi at peirs, which is a pity.It was handy at times.
Stuck in Mallaig a few days, looking for a window to escape south.

Good to know that there's not much EE up north.
I'm heading north next weekend and following week (Rhu to Stromness) then back the east route week after.
On Calmac: noted that on board both LoTI, and Clansman that WiFi was strong signal, but not connected to the Internet. In otherwords seems they are not connected to the shore. Don't know why, they seem to have multiple live terrestrial TV signals showing.

Intermittent g signal all the way from kinlochbervie to stromness. Quite surprised to get a nusciance call about misselling 30 miles offshore!
