Congradulations LS, does that mean you wont have time to bake a Whiskey fruit cake en passage down the Kyles
I would personally reccommend the Cumbrae Water Sport Centre for the practical, cheaper rates in sept.
When I done it through them they were the only local school that did not use roller furling foresail, but that has now changed on the new Santa Vey and Sommerled.

I suppose it depends whether she is going to helm or navigate. We could maybe persaude her that baking cakes en-route is part of 'blind navigation'. Are you going to supply the 'whiskey'? The white version won't spoil the colour of the cake!

Do the CWSC do the practical course over a few 2 day weekends?
My crew spent ages convincing me to 'upgrade' to roller furling - not sure if she would have wanted to wrestle on the fore deck with an hanked-on.

I can be called upon to bake whisky soaked fruit cake South of the Border and let it mature in time for it to be transported north with Chiron on her move. I have even discovered a type of cake called a Genoa!
I am, however, suffering with evaporation problems with my cooking whisky (different from the quality sipping stuff that Aquaplane looks after for me).
