A cracking looking boat Silkie, with quite a large sail area, what is she?

You may as well meet my bird too sunning herself at Largs, sorry no good action pics as of yet.

I ruthlessly cast my Dad adrift in the dinghy between Scarba and Luing to get some pics of Allegro under sail.

Image

Which worked very well until the Corrievreckan tripper boat roared up to rescue him, assuming that I was passing and re-passing him in a particularly inneffective attempt to pick him up!

Nonetheless, was kind of reassuring that someone might notice if you were marooned in the dinghy...!

Stupid dickhead! I slap my own wrist. Tradewind 35, I recognised the boat/rig before I realised what TW35 stands for....

Lets see if this works...

It does! It's my wee boat, but the marina isn't Craobh. Anyone guess?

Is it . . .

I think you're probably right with Orkney.

Stromness would be my guess.

Hopefully I might get there in a couple of weeks. Provided the weather improves somewhat :!:

Nobody around usually to get me any pics but this is one that brings back fond memories.

And this is about the only one I have with the sails up.

Neither boat nor pics in the same league as those already posted but without her I would never get out on the water.
