Re: An announcement
Congrats to Miss Silkie - you must be proud as punch, Dave.
I won't bump into you next weekend as I am over in Norway (onshore) at the moment but hopefully 2 weeks from then? Mind you, I may have to sell Rosally................ to pay my bar bill !
£8 a beer and £10 a packet of smokes !!! Second thoughts, I may just give up smoking and drinking. (temporarily of course).
You couldn't just send some of that Tamiflu over instead could you?

Hearty congratulations indeed to your young lady, Dave.Silkie wrote:Excellent suggestion on the use of Tamdhu for medicinal purposes but since I have to keep up my fluids I think it will have to be taken with quantities of beer.
Our son graduated out of Liverpool Uni last week, a 2:1 in Psychology, and his Girlfriend of long standing has passed her 1st degree and is off to Swansea to do the 2 year Paramedic course.
I met her parents over the weekend for 2 nights of socialising. He a GP, here a Community Nurse. 1 litre of Connemara peated malt, and we are now the best of friends.
I feel surrounded by medicos at the moment, and I don't have swine flu, as I am still listed as being self employed.
