I know I asked the question about IP addresses, but you've lost me now about the HRH-A thing. What is that?
BTW you are correct silkie about the 2 different computers. I am impressed.

Cliff had obviously been having a major row with the idiotically named Small Boat Chump . . . on SBC's own forum, I think although I am not sure where that is.

What's going on then Ash?

Are there two Small Boat Clubs then???? The one your link goes to has Nigel (aka Small Boat Champ) and Jimbuoy and just two other members, whereas:

http://smallboatclub.proboards98.com/

appears to be flourishing.

What's going on?

Don't know. I found my link in my Favorites.

I sent Nigel a scan of my Seafarer 501 manual some time ago, and he sent me a link to a SmallBoatClub.

Strangely, I can no longer find any evidence of our correspondence in either my emails, or my YBW private messages.

Ash

Edit: Found the emails, Nigel didn't give a link, he just said
Just a thought - have you thought of looking at our Small Boat Club ?? Online informal free ... dedicated to the small boat owner ... ??

Cheers
Nigel
Maybe he used to have a link in his signature - this was in August 2006.

Horrible . . .

.
What a hideous and appallingly constructed website . . .

It always amazes me that people are prepared to save a few pennies on their business website like that.

It's all pictures of fuzzy text, no way search engines will ever find it. Even Googling 'q & q inspection and survey baltic' doesn't bring it up.

funny how SBC or Nigel Luther winds people up, I suspect a pompous know it all web attitude comes across to some. Never bothered me though. I suspect that part of the problem with YBW is the lack of on the ball moderation .. when Kim was there (happy days) a post like taht would have disappeared in a couple of minutes, Cliff would have been sin binned and few people would have been the wiser. Now ita a major incident.

Was he naughty again? I've just done a search and can't find anything newer than 15/09. I now can't find him on the user list either.

Yes, you are right - it was an ancient post.

So it looks like only his avatar survives.
