That would be good Donald
I'm out of the game for a few weeks at present but mid August will see me free of family commitments and a wee health bugbear currently holding me back

I have been in and out of Oban North Channel several times over the last several years and not had any problem.

OK I have listened to the VHF for a bit before casting off from where ever, and set off in the knowledge that I had a good time to escape safely.

My sphincter clenching moments have been near Lismore Light with the Craignure ferries Crossing and LOTI or Hebridean Isles passing in close succession, loads of wash and buggering about.
Dear Mr A Plane, it is well documented that you can walk on water, so although for most of us having some kind of boat to cross water is de rigeur, surely for your good self it is optional? If your vessel was sunk by a passing ferry you would just curse mildly and continue on foot.

Actually, it's well documented that I failed to walk on water.

However, Stormy still gazes on me as though I can, so who am I to disabuse her?

Glad to hear that it went well. Did they steal a tube from elsewhere? Or insert a wee bit of plastic pipe?

Did you ask for a quote for cleaning out the heat exchanger on the red beast?
