I asked this question over on TOP where the moderators seem to lost the plot so it’ll probably get deleted..
“If I run my Planar heater will folk throw rocks at my boat?”

Re: Boat heater burning question
if you run it using Gazprom sourced fuel then you may need a few MIG29s for air cover to protect you from sense of humour failure and virtue signalling overload.
alternatively, move your boat to the Maldives to join the Oligarch Yacht Club where the Planar will not be needed.

Re: Boat heater burning question
That was funny.
It doesn't surprise me that it's been deleted. There was some bloke, OP asking about the best dual voltage freezer, and the tome post writer anchor person from Oz, wrote a tome on why the OP needed to provide more details, despite it being clear in the OP. The OP clearly annoyed said something about Covid controls in Oz. The heavy hand of moderation descended, striking out text. The whole place has become dreadfully boring and repetitive now. I also notice that the number of posters has fallen significantly and the number of responders is fairly limited to the few usual contributors.

What's a Planar and what's a Chinaspacher? Sad that two different "communist" countries make them but Red Clydeside makes nowt much of anything. Where's Jimmy Reid when we need him? There will be no swearing, there will be no bevvying etc.

I met Jimmy Reid a few times when he retired to Rothesay.
Can I say that Jimmy Reid would not have a clue how to manufacture very much.
An orator and a well read, very likeable, man. But not handy with a screwdriver.
