Passed this big floating hotel at ocean terminal on sat.
Looked like they were testing or maybe certifying one of the lifeboats.
Not very many passangers visible.

I cannot see any passengers so how come you are calling them plug ugly?
Or did you mean the lifeboats......

Probably just tenders running people ashore.
We get them a lot up this way. The upside is that the harbour put in a nice little pontoon for the tenders, which you aren't supposed to use for quick trips to the adjacent Tesco. So obviously I, erm, never use it for that.
