BlueMoment Harbour and Marina Guide

GALICIA (NORTH-WEST SPAIN)

PASSAGE NOTES

The rias of Galicia are a wonderful cruising ground, with plenty of excellent anchorages - so you don't have to use marinas if you don't want to. Most people will want a marina to relax in after crossing Biscay, however, and the most popular ports of arrival are La Coruna and Camarinas. We visited both, and both have a lot to recommend them.

We also spent a couple of nights in Vilagarcia (Ria Arousa) and took our departure from Spain from Bayona, another great cruising crossroads and meeting point.

This information was accurate as of September 2006, but the usual disclaimers apply - not to be used for navigation etc. If anyone has any corrections or observations to add then we would like to hear from you - you can use this FEEDBACK FORM
